Tyler Getz

Tyler Getz is a Risk Advisor at Elim, serving on the Risk Advisory team with a heart for small businesses, especially those in the construction industry. He joined Elim in Spring 2025, bringing with him a relationship-driven approach rooted in trust, experience, and genuine care.

Tyler operates with a “relationships first, business second” mindset. His role centers on helping clients identify risks and exposures while walking alongside them through real-world challenges. By sharing lived experiences and practical insight, Tyler helps clients feel confident in the decisions they’re making for their businesses and families.

His guiding philosophy is simple and deeply personal: let’s do life together and work through challenges side by side. That belief has shaped not only how he serves clients, but also how he shows up for teammates and his community.

Before joining Elim, Tyler dedicated 19 years of service as a firefighter and EMT with the Eureka Goodfield Fire Protection District, a role he recently retired from. That career instilled a calm, steady presence and a deep understanding of risk, crisis, and recovery. He remains active in his church community, which continues to be a meaningful anchor in his life.

Outside of work, Tyler’s greatest joy is spending time with his wife and kids. They love to travel, explore new places, and create meaningful memories together. He also enjoys golf, hunting, and fishing whenever he can get outdoors.

On a personal level, Tyler and his family recently experienced the loss of their home due to a fire. Walking through the uncertainty, stress, and rebuilding process firsthand has profoundly shaped how he views risk and resilience. That experience gives Tyler a unique depth of empathy—one he carries into every client conversation—because he understands, on a very real level, what it means to protect what matters most and to rebuild when life doesn’t go as planned.
